Appeals & Advocacy

Dial Mansfield & District now offers an Appeal and Advocacy service. This at present is limited to certain post coded areas. For more information please contact us.

Rural Outreach
As well as giving out advice and information from our Mansfield Town Centre Office, we operate a Rural Outreach project which takes our service out to the Community. See our Rural Outreach page for details of venues and times.

Access Guide
We regularly produce a Mansfield Town Centre Access Guide. The guide is free of charge and available in Standard print, Large print, Braille and Audio tape.

Other Information Guides
Dial has recently published six information booklets on the subjects of: Accessible Toilets; Accessible Transport; Shopmobility Schemes; Wheelchair Hire; Accessible Holidays; and Motoring. The first four booklets focus particularly on Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.  They are available free from the Mansfield office.

Disability Equality Training
Dial works with partner organisations to offer regular sessions on Disability Equality Training, which includes, among other things, information about the Disability Discrimination Act and Making Information Accessible.

Access Audits
A team of experienced volunteers and staff are available to carry out access audits.

Please contact us to find out more about any of the above services.
