Appeals & Advocacy
Dial Mansfield & District now offers an Appeal and Advocacy
service. This at present is limited to certain post coded areas. For more
information please contact us. Rural Outreach
As well as giving out advice and information from our Mansfield Town
Centre Office, we operate a Rural Outreach project
which takes our service out to the Community. See our Rural Outreach
page for details of venues and times.
Access Guide
We regularly produce a Mansfield Town Centre Access Guide. The
guide is free of charge and available in Standard print, Large print, Braille and
Audio
tape. Other Information Guides
Dial has recently published six information booklets on the subjects of:
Accessible Toilets; Accessible Transport; Shopmobility Schemes; Wheelchair
Hire; Accessible Holidays; and Motoring. The first four booklets focus
particularly on Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas. They are available free from
the Mansfield office. Disability Equality Training
Dial works with partner organisations to offer regular sessions on
Disability Equality Training, which includes, among other things,
information about the Disability Discrimination Act and Making Information
Accessible. Access Audits
A team of experienced volunteers and staff are available to carry out
access audits. Please
